FAQ

We meet most weeks on Wednesday nights. There will be some additional time commitments outside of meetings, including hangouts, coffee clubs, service projects, two retreats, and weekly Bible studies. While these activities aren't necessarily mandatory, it's important to remember that what you put into this community is what you'll get out. If you make the effort to dive in, you'll definitely find that this group will invest in your life as well!
What types of time commitments do ARTISTS members have?
What if I am not creative? Can I still apply?
What are membership dues?
Yes yes yes! We need people who are seeking Christ and who appreciate art. ARTISTS is also an awesome place to be challenged and inspired to create, even if you've never tried creating art before.
Dues are $60 per semester and are used for essential ARTISTS functions to support membership activities.
What does a typical meeting look like?
Meetings are on Wednesday nights and start at 8:30. The location varies, as they are sometimes on campus and sometimes off. Meetings are a lot of fun and we do something different every week, such as art and worship, or breakout sessions (a chance to learn a new medium), or just hanging out!
What if I am a Blinn student? Can I still apply?
Yes! Our membership includes A&M students, Blinn students, and those who are of student-age.
What if I am not a Christian?
ARTISTS is inclusive to all those looking for community. Although we are a Christian organization at heart, we do not turn away any applicants regardless of religious belief.
